Job Description About the Role We are looking for a talented Java Backend Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs, working in a modern microservices architecture. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and reliable applications. If you are passionate about backend development, cloud-native technologies, and building robust enterprise applications, we´d love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, etc.). - Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs. - Participate in the design, optimization, and maintenance of PostgreSQL database models. - Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications running on OpenShift. - Collaborate with frontend engineers working with React to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend services. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality standards. - Develop and execute unit tests and support continuous integration practices. - Troubleshoot production issues and proactively improve application performance, scalability, and security. - Work collaboratively within Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives.
