Descripción: Job Description: We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer (Modeling and Simulation) to join our team at Airbus Defence and Space SAU. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of advanced simulation tools and models for aerospace systems. RESPONSIBILITIES - Design, develop, and implement models and simulations for the analysis of complex systems. - Collaborate on the integration of simulation models with existing software and hardware. - Perform testing and validation of developed models and tools. - Document code, models, and development processes. - Participate in troubleshooting and software debugging. - Support the full software development lifecycle, from conceptualization to implementation and maintenance. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in modeling, simulation, and software development. SKILLS - University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field. - Solid programming knowledge in languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB/Simulink. - Familiarity with dynamic system modeling and simulation principles. - Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git). - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. - Good oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English. - Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus. - Prior experience in academic or industrial projects related to simulation or software development is a plus.
