The Opportunity We are looking for a visionary Lead UX Designer and Frontend Engineer to shape the future of our digital products in the life sciences sector. In this hybrid leadership role, you will be the driving force behind the user interfaces and complex dashboards that empower our Machine Learning and Data Science teams. Operating at the intersection of UX design and high-performance frontend engineering, you will translate complex bioinformatics, PCR, and sequencing data into intuitive, lightning-fast web applications. If you are passionate about building scalable UI architectures and graphing millions of data points to drive scientific innovation, this is the role for you. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership and Architecture: Act as the bridge between UX, Frontend, and Backend teams, driving architecture and design discussions to establish robust technical solutions and API designs (REST/GraphQL). Lead the end-to-end frontend implementation of enterprise-scale business applications deployed on AWS. Mentor and guide junior frontend engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, code quality, and continuous learning. UX Engineering and System Design: Own the user experience for highly complex data tools, ensuring seamless workflows for data scientists and researchers.
