The Voice and Messaging (T-VM) organizational unit (Tribe) within Deutsche Telekom Technik GmbH bears overall responsibility for all voice and messaging platforms in the fixed and mobile networks of Deutsche Telekom Technik throughout their lifecycle. The platforms managed by T-VM form the basis for a large part of Telekom Deutschland´s core business; therefore, our mission is to simultaneously ensure the success-critical factors of stability, quality, innovation, and efficiency. The ACS Squad (Announcement-, Control and Supportsystems) is responsible for the full lifecycle of critical IMS components within DT Technik. Responsibilities and Duties: IMS-MRF (Media Resource Function) deployed on Kubernetes OneiDNS, a cloud-native DNS service for all IMS nodes in fixed and mobile networks, deployed on Kubernetes VoIP Support Systems, a VMware-based application landscape within the IMS fixed network provisioning chain We work as a DevOps team, taking full responsibility from design and engineering to deployment and operation. One of our next major challenges is the development of a new AI Calling system, built on DT Technik’s CaaS Kubernetes platform, enabling real-time speech processing and translation within IMS call flows.
